Money: Trap or Gift?

It’s often said that money is the root of all evil. But that’s not what the Bible really says. It says the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Because what we desire most in life will ultimately inform what we do, and become our justification for how we live.

This week, Rob Collis preaches from 1 Timothy 6.9-10, 17-19. In these verses, we’re told, at the end of the day, money will do either one of two things to us: Money will either lead us to ruin – or money will lead us to life. The difference in which outcome happens to you will depend entirely on what you love.
