A Song of Provision

August 23, 2026 | Psalm 127 | Jude Johnson

It’s been said there are only sacred moments and moments we have forgotten are sacred. The Christian season of Ordinary Time accounts for more than half of the year. This season points to something important about the Christian life: God wants to meet us with his grace in the everyday realities of our life. During the time of the Old Testament, God’s people remembered this over and over again. Three times a year, they would go on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem – but they didn’t make that journey in silence! They turned to the Psalms to create a road trip playlist of songs for the journey.

This week, we’re glad to welcome back Jude Johnson from the Artizo Institute. Jude preaches from Psalm 127, which is a song of God’s provision in our lives. As he walks us through the psalm, he shows us how we are dependent on God for everything, and God wants to provide for his people.
